Research Interests
I work primarily in the area of isolation, culture and maintenance of different cell types including stem cells, cancer cells, endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells. I belong to the stem cell therapy group which uses stem cells such as skeletal myoblasts (mice and rats) for implantation and therapy for myocardial infarction. I also use protein assays such as western blot. I am also involved in cell culture and providing cells to Dr. Parinandi and his lab. I was also a part of the organizing committee for EPR 2005.
