Research Interests
My research interest is directed towards: i). Activation of the tumor suppressor gene PTEN, and inhibition of STAT3 signaling in ovarian cancer, ii.) Role of STAT3 in hypoxic ovarian cancer and implications of HBOT as adjuvant therapy iii.) Role of Fatty acid synthase (FAS) in ovarian cancer and identification of FAS inhibitors, iv) Use of novel synthetic curcumin analog compounds for ovarian cancer therapy.

Current Projects
  • Safe, targeted antitumor therapeutics (STAT3 inhibitors) for ovarian cancer
  • Role of FAS in ovarian cancer
